Sektion öffentliche Statistik
Ziele der Sektion öffentliche Statistik
Die Sektion Öffentliche Statistik:
-
vertritt die Interessen der auf dem Gebiet
der öffentlichen
Statistik tätigen Statistikerinnen und Statistiker,
-
pflegt den Austausch mit den Hochschulen,
öffentlichen und privaten Forschungszentren sowie mit den Benutzern
statistischer Informationen,
-
fördert den Kontakt unter den Statistikerinnen und
Statistikern auf nationaler und internationaler Ebene,
-
setzt sich für die berufliche Ausbildung und
Weiterbildung ein,
-
unterstützt und verteidigt die Berufsethik,
-
fördert die Verwendung und die Entwicklung der
statistischen Information,
-
unterstützt die öffentliche Statistik in der Schweiz,
-
unterstützt die Aktivitäten der statistischen
Dienste im Hinblick auf die Befriedigung der Informationsbedürfnisse
der Benutzer,
-
trägt zur Anerkennung der Statistik als
eigenständige wissenschaftliche Disziplin und zur Anerkennung der
öffentlichen Statistik als öffentliche Dienstleistung und staatliche
Aufgabe bei.
