Section Statistique publique
Objectifs de la section Statistique publique
La section Statistique publique poursuit les objectifs suivants:
- représenter les intérêts des statisticiens actifs dans le domaine de la statistique publique;
- favoriser les relations avec les milieux universitaires, les centres de recherche publics et privés ainsi qu'avec les utilisateurs de l'information statistique;
- faciliter les contacts entre les statisticiens aux échelons national et international;
- promouvoir la formation et le perfectionnement professionnels;
- promouvoir et défendre l'éthique professionnelle;
- favoriser l'utilisation et le développement de l'information statistique;
- promouvoir la statistique publique en Suisse;
- soutenir l'activité des services de statistique en vue de la satisfaction des besoins d'informations des utilisateurs;
- contribuer à faire reconnaître la statistique comme une discipline scientifique à part entière et la statistique publique comme un service public et une fonction spécifique de l'Etat.
