
Johann Heinrich Lambert Award
The Swiss Statistical Society (SSS) has established since 2013 the Johann Heinrich Lambert Award to recognise the work of young statisticians. The Lambert Award consists of a certificate and prize money of 1'000 Swiss Francs. It entitles to a plenary talk at the Swiss Statistics Meeting 2021 in Lugano (6nd - 8th September 2021).
Lambert Award 2021
Following the postponement of the Swiss Statistics Days 2020, the 2020 Lambert Prize has also been cancelled. The 2021 Lambert Prize will be awarded at the Swiss Statistics Days 2021 in Lugano.
Young statisticians (up to age 36) are invited to submit their work to the Jury of the Lambert Award before 31st May 2021.
Applications : Candidates must consult the rules of the Lambert Award and download the application form and the rules here. Applications must be submitted before 31st May 2021.
The Jury is composed of the following 4 members:

To allow all 2020 Lambert Award candidates to resubmit their nomination in 2021, the maximum age is raised to 36 years for the 2021 Lambert Award.
